DSC_8216Paula Gallant specializes in adult learning and process facilitation with a focus on community and organizational development. Along with being a graduate of the University of King’s College with a degree in International Development Studies, she graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Diploma in Adult Education. Paula is certified as a facilitator of the  “Dialogue for Peaceful Change” methodology – an internationally recognized method of mediation and change. In November 2011, she completed a three-week course entitled “Organizational Learning and Change” at the Coady International Institute. She has been a self-employed facilitator and adult educator since December 2002.

Her professional profile includes:

  • Experience in the management of local, national and international partnerships and programs
  • Expertise in the design and facilitation of experientially based programs for adults and youth in national and international contexts
  • Experience engaging diverse individuals, organizations, and stakeholders in collaborative and purposeful planning and action
  • Able to analyze, interpret and report on results of facilitated processes
  • Able to work in three languages (fluent in English and French, intermediate level in Spanish)
  • Able to communicate, both orally and in writing, at a level and in a format consistent with the audience
  • Able to communicate with people of another culture in a way that earns respect and trust
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team to achieve results
  • Experience in word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, data bases and internet and other standard computer applications
